Jay Rooney is the Founder and President of GKR Residential, Inc. A South Boston native, Jay has emerged as one of the top producing real estate agents in Boston and all of Massachusetts over the last ten years. In 2011, Jay was ranked by the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as the #1 Listing Agent in South Boston, and #1 in Units Sold in South Boston with $26 Million in sales. He is also ranked among the top 10 agents in the entire City of Boston over the last 10 years, and among the top 35 in the state. Jay is a graduate of the Salisbury School (CT), and Tufts University with a BA in Political Science and Spanish. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, MLS & LINK. Jay enjoys traveling, reading and cheering for the Red Sox when he is not working. He currently lives in Milton with his wife Carolyn, daughters Victoria and Olivia, and son Nathan.
